WOMENβS HISTORY MONTH: NUTRITION AND HEALTH FOR A VIBRANT LIFE
I extend my warmest greetings to each of you, embracing you in the spirit of unity and empowerment. As we celebrate Women's History Month, I am honored to present to you, not only as a woman but also as a dedicated advocate for health and nutrition in our beloved country.
In Ghana, we are blessed with rich traditions, vibrant cultures, and a strong sense of community. Yet, amidst our colorful tapestry, we face challenges that impact our health and well-being. As women, the pillars of our families and communities, it is imperative that we prioritize our health, ensuring vitality and longevity for ourselves and those we cherish.
Nutrition lies at the heart of our well-being, serving as the cornerstone of a vibrant life. It fuels our bodies, nourishes our minds, and sustains our spirits. In our journey towards optimal health, let us embrace the power of wholesome, nourishing foods β fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Let us cultivate a culture of mindful eating, savoring each bite with gratitude and intention.
Moreover, let us recognize the critical role of education and awareness in promoting health literacy across our nation. Empowered with knowledge, we can make informed choices for ourselves and our families, steering clear of harmful practices and embracing lifestyle habits that foster vitality and resilience.
As women, we possess an innate strength β a resilience that transcends boundaries and empowers us to overcome adversity. Let us harness this strength as we advocate for equitable access to healthcare, championing initiatives that ensure every woman has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of her circumstances.
Distinguish ladies, this year, the National Womenβs History Monthβs theme is βWomen Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.β It encourages us (women) to go to full length in advocating for fairness, diversity, and inclusion in every fiber of life and yet hold tight our place at home to ensure good eating habits. Let us pause for a moment and ask ourselves, what has been our individual contributions towards this theme and begin to make our little efforts for social justice, inclusion, and diversity amongst others.
Together, let us forge a future where every woman in Ghana enjoys the gift of good health β a future where nutrition is not a privilege but a fundamental human right. As we honor the trailblazers who have paved the way for us, let us also commit ourselves to shaping a legacy of wellness for generations to come.
This I do, in solidarity and sisterhood.
Thank you all.
Gloria
WOMENβS HISTORY MONTH: NUTRITION AND HEALTH FOR A VIBRANT LIFE
Being a woman comes with so many challenges, especially in our part of the world where women are most times silence when it come to decision making, A woman will have to put in extra effort to be able to make it to the top but that didnt bring me down in my pursuit to become a Physician Assistant and the chance to work in the health sector.
I chose a career in the health sector because of my passion for helping others and making a positive impact on peopleβs lives. The opportunity to provide immediate care and support during medical emergencies was particularly appealing to me. Being a Physician Assistant allows me to constantly learn and grow, and the dynamic nature of the field keeps me motivated and engaged.
To women physicians and those considering a career in the healthcare sector, my message is this: Believe in yourself and your abilities. You have the power to make a difference in the lives of your patients and contribute to the field of health. Surround yourself with a strong support system, seek out mentors who can guide and uplift you, and never be afraid to advocate for yourself. Remember that your voice and perspective are valuable and needed in healthcare. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and continue to pursue your passion with determination and resilience.
#Happy Womens History month to all the amazing women of virtue out there trying to be the difference in peoples lives.

A woman is a special creature with a lion's heart, bold and courageous. She is virtuous, full of love and kindness.
A woman is seen or known to be complicated but even in the Garden of Eden, God sent a woman to take care of Adam and all the creatures.
A woman is a caretaker and endures pain to keep others happy, she is strong and never moved by an obstacle. That is why most tasks is done by a woman including the task of a man.
She feels it when things are not right or going wrong, that's why she can feel the hurt of her child from far.
A woman multiplies what is given to her and that's why God entrusted her to be fruitful and multiply in the earth. This same woman can perform both mother and father duties and responsibilities when being made a single parent.
A woman is love, a woman is kind, a woman endures and a woman is strong.
Yes, I am proud to be a woman!
Happy Women's Day. π

Today, we are celebrating the strength, determination, and resilience of women everywhere. Our world would mean nothing without women. Women provide the foundation of power, grace, wisdom, justice, creativity, and hope. Women are known to have better: intuition, patience, emotional focus, compassion and networking abilities.
Women are always a source of inspiration for the family and the society. The one thing we wear best is our confidence, because we make our own choices in the light of our wisdom. Had women not been there, life would have never been so beautiful and peaceful.
A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.
A woman is so much more than just a human being. She has the power to create a life, to cope up with so much pain and somehow always end up being the strongest one in the room. Only a woman can almost die and give birth at the same time.
Women are never weak because God has made them strong in every sense. Be proud to be a woman!!!
